More Purity, More God is Revealed

“No man shall know the day or the hour in which I shall come.” No man can see unless I cause him to see by my Spirit, what or when all things must be.

You know not the day or the hour but in truth you do know the season.

What is a season?

Each of the four divisions of the year, spring, summer, fall, and winter, are marked by particular weather patterns and daylight house, resulting from the earth’s changing position with regard to the sun.

Our lives are marked as seasons. Each season represents or is equal to a growth or defining moment in our relationship with Christ.

What is man that he should attain or receive any good thing from the Lord? Yet, his promises are, “yes and amen.” He will give unto the hungry for more, more of him. He will establish in their hearts an unquenchable taste for more of his goodness and purity. “More desire to be and more desire to see, more of his glory for he declares, “I Am He.”

Matthew 24:36

1 Corinthians 2:10

God’s Threshold

Have you ever tried to suggest or even tell God what he should do concerning your life?  You know, little hints here and there. Yep, me too.

For many months the Holy Spirit had been talking to me about “stepping over the threshold.” I thought I had a handle on everything, but what was a threshold anyway?  It could be a level, rate, or amount at which something comes into effect. In this regard, it is literally “going up higher” in the things of God, and fulfilling what he has already set in motion for our lives. Why do we sometimes fight against the changes which we know will have to come? (The old nature in us still wants to be in charge, perhaps?) For me, my choice is His Divine Will, and my desire to be obedient to follow His total direction. Amazing! This revelation is a submission on my part to precisely what I wanted all along.

“Today, I got it!” I ask the Lord to create in me a clean heart and a right spirit within me. (Psalms 51:10) He said, “Now you have just stepped over the Threshold.”

Submission = Peace    “Think about it.”

Winds of the Spirit

“This is the day the Lord Jehovah has made; come, we will leap for joy and rejoice in him! (Psalm 118:24, Aramaic Bible in Plain English)

Every day is the day the Lord made. Then while it is called “this day,” recognize his complete love and care for your life. Nothing changes. Not where he or his Word is concerned.” Think back to your own life. The Word of God has been available to you in many expressed forms. You could not understand until you “heard” the teacher teach.

Then, as you grew, the teacher began to enlighten you, and it was with greater fullness of understanding. Even today, you still marvel at how his hidden wisdom and direction for your own life has increased. Your eyes widen, and your heart becomes excited with the new revelations in his Word. Yes, the Word has been there, but your hunger brought you a clearer and more refined understanding.

He says, “Draw near to me, and I will always draw nearer to you with more of me.”

Does His Word change? No, and neither does he.  Peace.
