“When we receive a revelation from God concerning a prophecy, it is because each day we are one day closer to the fulfillment of that Word and His direction.” Wow!
Think of the times you have opened the Bible, read, and were astonished at the clarity of what you read. That is because He has made it plain to your heart. The Word of God in us is alive! “The Word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to the dividing of soul and spirit, joints, and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12, NIV)
Your hunger for more of him brings his life, and his Word alive in you. Now, you are drawing from the wells of His Glory! Philippians 4:13 says, “I press toward the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
Daily we choose. Do we honestly want to settle for less? Are we going to arise out of bed each morning and be excited at what God has in store for us that day? Or perhaps go into neutral and see what comes about on its own? To be excited about what God has for me usually involves taking a stand against the enemy to my soul first. But not always. It is a matter of declaring what the Word says. We bless the Lord for his goodness always. I chose every day, by my own will, to follow Christ.
Some days I want to float…no pressure, no heavy thinking. (There is a time for pulling aside, but this is different.) I had better have secured my ground around me first. The day and times we are living in, according to the Word of God, says our times will be Perilous Times! (2nd Timothy 3:1) I can’t let my guard down for a minute! In our lives, we fight against the enemy to our minds, and through so many other avenues.
Think about the pure Word of God. It is a shield to protect you, and it has been built up in you, or it isn’t valid. We have to saturate our thoughts by the “Washing of the Water of the Word!” I must continually take every thought captive that does not line up with the Word of God! (2nd Corinthians 10:3-5) Also,”We are to take up the whole armor of God that we may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.” (Ephesians 6:13, ESV)
What is most precious to me is, His love never fails, and in all things, he will see me through, just like you. Hallelujah!
